As pioneers in fertility acupuncture and nutrition, we were one of the first clinics in Australia to collaborate closely with gynecologists, fertility specialists, IVF clinics, doctors, and nurses to support people wishing to have a child. Dr Julie Rani Vecera, an acupuncturist, Chinese Medical practitioner, and nutritionist, opened the doors of The Fertility Pod in 2010. Julie found, through her own experience, how important it is for natural health practitioners to work alongside western medical doctors to give a patient the best chance of a successful pregnancy. As one of the heads in the IVF field said, “Julie has been a leader in bringing the notion of collaborative conventional and complementary fertility treatment to the fore for practitioners and patients alike.”
Along with her extensive knowledge in supporting fertility and IVF, Julie’s engaging, down-to-earth, and friendly demeanor has ensured that she is a popular speaker in seminars, webinars, and fertility events.
Over the last 13 years, the team at The Fertility Pod has grown and we’ve been delighted to support many wonderful women and couples as they go through their fertility journey. The experienced and caring practitioners are here for you, providing acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), nutrition, dietary advice, naturopathy, massage, diagnostic testing, and lifestyle advice. Just as importantly, the appointments are a time when you are heard and can receive emotional support. The Fertility Pod is a place where you can relax, rejuvenate, and revitalize.
As you may surmise, you can be assured that you and your partner are getting the best health care. When creating a treatment plan designed just for you, we consider everything starting from your health goals, your unique body and circumstances, your test and scan results, to your medical appointment times.
The Fertility Pod clinic is centrally located at The Carlton Wellness Centre in Carlton, Melbourne, with locations available at Monash IVF in Cremorne, Clayton, and Hawthorn, at the Melbourne Fertility and Endosurgery Centre in Brighton East, and in the CBD.
Nutrition and naturopathy appointments are available via telehealth video call – we are able to support you wherever you live in Australia.
